All our staff are DBS checked before working with the children and these are updated every 3 years as good working practice requires.

Laura Wareing – Managing Director

Mrs Laura Wareing – Owner and Manager 
Laura has a level 4 Early Years and childcare qualification and has worked at Little Stars since opening in October 2007. Alongside this Laura has also gained her NPQ qualification in Early Years and Leadership in April 2024, with all the full and relevant other childcare qualifications such as paediatric First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, oral health champion and many more in her time working with children for over 20 years.

All staff continually update their professional development in core areas such as Safeguarding, First Aid, Food hygiene, SEN but also do lots more training to update their development to be able to offer the best strategies to support our children in our care. 
A record of all staffs training certificates is available for you to look at in the reception area of the nursery.
